I think what hurts the most isn’t the idea that you feel like you wasted your time on someone or something that you invested time and effort on. It’s the fact that you invested so much of yourself into someone that you forgot about your self-worth. Love yourself first and foremost. You’re worth more than you think you are. Don’t forget that.
